DETAILS //
HART will begin construction activities on Halekauwila Street in preparation for upcoming guideway construction. Initial activities include potholing at select locations to confirm the placement of future guideway columns, to be followed by tree pruning and removals, and then guideway construction.
Potholing will take place during both daytime and nighttime hours with intermittent lane closures and adjustments required to safely accommodate the work.
As potholing is completed, contractor Tutor Perini will begin to mobilize on Halekauwila Street for guideway construction later this year.
Additional information related to the tree pruning, guideway construction and associated traffic adjustments will be provided as work plans are finalized. HART will also host a community meeting this summer to provide further information on rail construction activities.
