HART will implement a new traffic plan and begin guideway construction along Halekauwila Street, starting with the section between Richards Street and Punchbowl Street. As construction progresses down Halekauwila Street, crews will work in multiple areas concurrently, and new traffic plans will be required. HART will notify tenants along Halekauwila Street and publish any new traffic plans for different areas prior to implementation.
Due to the use of heavy equipment, motorists, pedestrians, and nearby properties should expect traffic and pedestrian detours, as well as increased construction activity.
