The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) will install additional lane closures on Ala Moana Boulevard for construction of the Downtown Station.

Starting the week of October 19, 2026, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Ala Moana Boulevard between Bishop Street and Richards Street

DETAILS //
HART will install the following lane closures listed below:
- One additional eastbound lane on Ala Moana Boulevard between Bishop Street and Richards Street will be closed at all times. Minimum of two lanes will remain open during daytime hours.
- Additional lanes will occaisionally be closed in both directions during nighttime hours to accomodate construction activity.
- Eastbound left turn from Ala Moana Boulevard to Halekauwila Street will be closed at all times.
Due to the use of heavy equipment, motorists, pedestrians, and nearby properties should expect traffic and pedestrian detours, as well as increased construction activity.
Access to all properties will be maintained.
