Business and Community Meeting – Downtown Utilities Relocation

HART has awarded the Downtown Utilities Relocation construction contract to Frank V. Coluccio Construction Company, Inc (FVCCC). This phase of utility relocation work is to relocate both wet and dry utilities along Ka’a’ahi Street, Nimitz Highway, and Halekauwila Street in advance of the City Center Guideway and Stations (CCGS) contract. FVCCC is hosting a virtual meeting on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 6 pm for business and community members interested in the Downtown Utility Relocations project.

The major scope elements for utilities relocation include storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water main, gas/fuel, electrical and communications infrastructure, and roadway improvements. Daytime and nighttime work is anticipated with periods of 24/7 construction in select areas on an as-needed basis.
