The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) would like to invite you to join us for a meeting as part of on-going consultation for the Honolulu Rail Transit Project. The meeting details are as follows:

The purpose of this general meeting is to discuss highlights from the recently completed archaeological inventory survey (AIS) for the City Center section as well as matters related to the treatment of na iwi kupuna found during the AIS.
Please note, it is HART’s intent to hold additional meetings with only recognized cultural descendants. These meetings will be invitation only from Lani Maa Lapilio.
All iwi kupuna found will be considered as previously identified and treatment decisions will be made in consultation with the Oahu Island Burial Council (OIBC) and lineal and cultural descendants in accordance with the Hawaii burial law and administrative rules.
