Historic Preservation Workshop

HART is pleased to invite the public to our upcoming Historic Preservation Workshop! This event is designed for owners of potentially historic properties along the rail line—but all are welcome. The purpose of this workshop is to inspire, educate, and empower the community to engage in historic preservation.

Attendees will hear from speakers on topics including:

• An overview of the historic architecture of Oʻahu.
• How to determine eligibility for historic designation.
• Navigating the process of historic designation
• Ongoing historic preservation efforts supported by HART.
  
  

Attendees will also have access to printed and electronic resources covering: proper rehabilitation practices for historic properties, the benefits of historic designation, financial incentives available for eligible properties, and more.
