Saturday and Sunday: 2pm to 6am (as needed)

Traffic Update: Kamehameha Highway – Week of July 3, 2022

Sunday, July 3, 2022 to Saturday, July 9, 2022


There will be no travel lane closures on Monday, July 4, 2022 in observance of Independence Day, except where noted below. All 24/7 lane closures will remain in place during this time.

PEARL CITY/AIEA – KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY

LOCATION: Waihona Street to Kuala Street

Daytime: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday
Alternating lanes of eastbound and westbound Kamehameha Highway may be closed.

LOCATION: Kanuku Street to Kaonohi Street

Daytime: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday
One lane of westbound Kamehameha Highway will be closed.

Daytime: 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday
One lane of eastbound Kamehameha Highway will be closed. One of the two left turn lanes from eastbound Kamehameha Highway onto Kaonohi Street will be closed. 

LOCATION: Kaonohi Street to Lipoa Place

Daytime: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday
One lane of westbound Kamehameha Highway will be closed.

 

Alternating and intermittent lane closures may be required along eastbound and westbound Kamehameha Highway in short sections or by blocks. 

Turn lanes may also be reduced or closed intermittently for maintenance, as needed. Detour signage will be posted for motorists.

Shoulder and median work signage/cones along the side of the road will mark the work area. Travel lanes may be adjusted near work areas. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and provide a safe distance between themselves, the construction workers and vehicles.
