There will be no travel lane closures on Monday, July 4, 2022 in observance of Independence Day, except where noted below. All 24/7 lane closures will remain in place during this time.
WAIPAHU – FARRINGTON HIGHWAY
LOCATION: Leoku Street to Leokane Street
Daytime: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday
One lane of westbound Farrington Highway will be closed.
LOCATION: Leoku Street/Leo’ole Street Intersection
Daytime: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday
The westbound left turn/U-turn lane at the intersection of Farrington Highway and Leoku Street/Leo’ole Street will be closed. Motorists will be detoured.
LOCATION: Leokane Street to Pupukahi Street
Daytime: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday to Friday
One lane of eastbound Farrington Highway will be closed.
LOCATION: Pupukahi Street Intersection
Daytime: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday to Friday
One lane of eastbound Farrington Highway will be closed. Inbound or outbound lanes of Pupukahi Street may be intermittently closed on the makai side of the Farrington Highway intersection. Motorists will be detoured to Pupupuhi Street.
LOCATION: Waipahu Depot Street to Mokuola Street
Daytime: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday to Friday
Alternating lanes of eastbound and westbound Farrington Highway will be closed.
Alternating and intermittent lane closures may be required along eastbound and westbound Farrington Highway in short sections or by blocks.
Turn lanes may also be reduced or closed intermittently for maintenance, as needed. Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
Shoulder and median work signage/cones along the side of the road will mark the work area. Travel lanes may be adjusted near work areas. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and provide a safe distance between themselves, the construction workers and vehicles.
