2020 Student Art Poster Contest Virtual Gallery

The 2020 HART Art Poster Contest collection is available to view on a virtual gallery. While there was a delay in placing the artworks on the 3D space, the virtual art gallery turned out to be beautiful and lifelike. It will be available on the website for years to come.

The collection comprises of 88 art posters created by Oahu high school students from public, private, and charter schools.

The contest theme was Welcome Aboard Next-Gen Riders, where students were asked to imagine and illustrate how enjoyable it will be to ride the trains. There were two categories for students to submit their entries – traditional (hand-sketched) artwork or digital (computer-produced) artwork.

Twelve winners were selected and, the students presented to the HART Board of Directors. The winners came from the following schools:

– Maryknoll School
– Hawaii Technology Academy
– James Campbell High School
– Farrington High School
– Mililani High School
– Kalani High School
– Kapolei High School

The talented students created artworks that were creative and expressed the theme of the contest.
