(HONOLULU)- The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) has awarded Icomera US, Inc. the passenger Wi-Fi system contract for the Honolulu rail project.
“One of the most frequently asked questions we get is, ‘Will there be Wi-Fi on the trains?’”, said HART Executive Director and CEO Andrew Robbins. “We are always happy to reply ‘Yes, there will be Wi-Fi onboard’, and we are happy that Icomera will be providing the Wi-Fi system for HART.”
Four companies submitted bids in response to HART’s solicitation for the Passenger Wi-Fi System Contract. Icomera was the low bidder with a bid of $1,219,858.
