The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) Executive Director and CEO Lori Kahikina, P.E., issued the following statement regarding the appointment of Edwin Young to the HART Board of Directors:
On behalf of HART, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Edwin Young to the HART Board as the ninth voting member. Appointed by the HART Board of Directors, he will serve a five-year term. A City & County of Honolulu Auditor for nine years, Young brings extensive institutional and project knowledge to the Board and conducted the first performance audit of HART in 2015. I look forward to working with Board Member Young.
