The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) announces a one night full closure of eastbound Nimitz Highway at Bishop Street to install a traffic signal mast arm pole as part of the ongoing roadway improvements on Nimitz Highway.

Beginning Friday, September 19 at 10:00 pm, until Saturday, September 20 at 4:00 am.
WHERE //
Eastbound Nimitz Highway at the Bishop Street intersection.
DETAILS //
All lanes of eastbound Nimitz Highway will be closed at the Bishop Street intersection. Eastbound motorists will be detoured at Bethel Street, or at Bishop Street toward Aloha Tower Drive to continue east. Special duty officers will assist motorists and pedestrians near the work area. Alternate routes, including King Street, are recommended for eastbound travel. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained.
