All lanes of eastbound and westbound Kamehameha Highway may be closed intermittently. Motorists may be detoured.
For the safety of crews and the traveling public, the speed limit has been reduced to 25 mph on Kamehameha Highway between Salt Lake Boulevard/ Ford Island Bridge and Center Drive. The highway has been reduced to two lanes in each direction during construction. Bike lanes have been removed due to space constraints. Please drive safely; observe the posted speed limit, follow construction and directional signs, and share the road with bicyclists.

PEARL HARBOR INTERCHANGE
LOCATION: Nimitz Highway Off-Ramp and Joint-Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp to Kamehameha Highway

The ramp to westbound Kamehameha Highway from westbound H-1 Freeway, westbound Nimitz Highway, and JBPHH exit will be reduced to three lanes for the duration of project construction.
NIMITZ HIGHWAY/VALKENBURGH STREET
LOCATION: Valkenburgh Street at the Nimitz Highway intersection

One lane of Valkenburgh Street may be closed.
H-1 FREEWAY
LOCATION: H-1 Freeway Exit 16
Nighttime: 8:00 p.m.to 4:00 a.m., overnights Monday to Thursday
The eastbound H-1 Freeway off-ramp (Exit 16) to Paiea Street will be closed. Access to the airport will be maintained.
PAIEA STREET
LOCATION: Paiea Street at the Aolele Street intersection
Nighttime: 8:00 p.m.to 4:00 a.m., overnights Wednesday and Thursday
Alternating lanes of northbound Paiea Street at the Aolele Street intersection may be closed. Traffic will be maintained through the intersection.
AOLELE STREET
LOCATION: Airport Parking Exit to Paiea Street
Nighttime: 8:00 p.m.to 4:00 a.m., overnights Monday to Thursday
All lanes of eastbound Aolele Street will be closed. Motorists will be detoured. The H-1 Freeway on-ramp will also be closed.
LAGOON DRIVE
LOCATION: Aolele Street to Koapaka Street
Nighttime: 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., overnights Monday to Thursday
Alternating lanes of Lagoon Drive may be closed.
WAIWAI LOOP
LOCATION: Waiwai Loop Makai
24 Hours a Day, Seven Days a Week
The makai side of Waiwai Loop may be restricted to one-way traffic in the westbound direction. Motorists may be detoured through the mauka side of Waiwai Loop. Local access will remain for businesses.
Nighttime: 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., overnights Monday to Thursday

KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY/DILLINGHAM BOULEVARD
LOCATION: Middle Street at the Kamehameha Highway Intersection
24 Hours a Day, Seven Days a Week
One lane of southbound Middle Street may be closed. Traffic may be stopped intermittently.
LOCATION: Middle Street to Laumaka Street
Nighttime: 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., overnights Sunday to Thursday
All lanes of eastbound Kamehameha Highway may be closed. Eastbound motorists traveling from Nimitz Highway or the H-1 Freeway Exit 18B may be detoured. Westbound traffic and local business access will be maintained.
LOCATION: Middle Street to Kaaahi Street
24 Hours a Day, Seven Days a Week
Kamehameha Highway and Dillingham Boulevard will be reduced to one traffic lane in both the eastbound and westbound direction between Middle Street and Kaaahi Street. Left turns will be restricted except from Alakawa Street. Access to properties will be maintained.
Noise Impact: During potholing, vac truck, drilling and excavation work, expect increased noise levels from the unloading of materials and general machinery sounds. Shoulder and median work signage/cones along the side of the road will mark the work area. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and provide a safe distance between their vehicles, the construction workers and equipment.
Note: Due to overhead crane work, traffic may be stopped intermittently due to safety for commuters and pedestrians.
