Traffic Update: Kamehameha Highway – Week of September 4, 2022

There will be no travel lane closures on Monday, September 5, 2022 in observance of Labor Day, except where noted below. All 24/7 lane closures will remain in place during this time.

 

PEARL CITY/AIEA – KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY

LOCATION: Waihona Street to Acacia Road

Daytime: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday to Friday
Alternating lanes of eastbound and westbound Kamehameha Highway may be closed.

LOCATION: Kuleana Road intersection

Daytime: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday to Friday
One lane of eastbound Kamehameha Highway near the Kuleana Road intersection will be closed. Pedestrians may be detoured.

Turn lanes may also be reduced or closed intermittently for maintenance, as needed. Detour signage will be posted for motorists.

Shoulder and median work signage/cones along the side of the road will mark the work area. Travel lanes may be adjusted near work areas. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and provide a safe distance between themselves, the construction workers and vehicles.
