HART announced Notice to Proceed to Nan, Inc. for utility infrastructure relocation along Dillingham Boulevard

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) today announced that the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has approved HART’s 2022 Recovery Plan.

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) today announced the award of a contract for the relocation of utility infrastructure along Dillingham Boulevard to Nan, Inc. Under procurement requirements, the award is subject to a 10-day period when other bidders may file a protest. The Dillingham utility relocations have long been identified as a critical component for the completion of the rail project.

A recent City audit of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) finds that HART has successfully completed all nine recommendations, which the Honolulu City Auditor previously deemed incomplete. The Office of the City Auditor released the results of its follow-up audit to assess the extent that HART has acted upon nine different recommendations, from past audits dating back to 2016. HART passed with flying colors.
