City Center Traffic Update | Week of October 19, 2014
The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) wants drivers to be aware of weekly lane closures in the urban Honolulu area as related to the Honolulu rail transit project.
For the safety of both the work crews and motorists, the public is advised to proceed with caution through these areas. Drivers should anticipate possible traffic delays or use alternate routes during work hours, and provide a safe distance between their vehicles and workers and equipment:
All scheduled weekly lane closures are subject to change and may be postponed because of the approaching storm. HART will provide updates on any schedule changes or cancellations:
Sunday, October 19 to Thursday, October 23
Lane closures will take place overnight at the following location between 8:30 p.m. and 4 a.m. for sewer line repair:
- Inside lanes of Nimitz Highway in both directions between Bishop Street and Richards Street
Lane closures will take place overnight at the following location between 7:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. for sewer line repair:
- Westbound lane of Queen Street will be closed from Fort Street to Nimitz Highway
